Then, in 2014, we wanted to launch a separate line of folders that would fill the niche formed between Sergey's customs and our serial products. These knives had to be distinguished by more advanced steels and handle materials.

Since then, our CA has come a long way, having gained both their own history and reputation during this time. Custom Divisions have turned from knives, which are designed to be advanced versions of the series, into a training ground to promote the advanced achievements of the Workshop - in this they are surpassed only by Sergey's customs.

Initially, CD models were either in very small batches or just separate knives in various configurations. But soon we decided to streamline this process and began to produce strictly 30 pieces of each model with individual numbering. And later, they switched to through numbering and a batch size of 50 pieces. After the release of the batch, the model is discontinued, and never in this version is released again.

Custom Division knives are not as difficult to get as Sergei's custom masterpiece. But they are certainly a valuable "prize" for our fans, and are able to bring sincere joy to any collector. If, of course, they were lucky enough to win the right to buy it in lotteries at exhibitions or on our website.

Taking into account the unique pedigree and history of our CA, we wanted to prepare something special for the 10th anniversary of Custom Division. Something that could stand out even among the already advanced CD line.

Meet the CDX! This model is made on the basis of a custom F7 and inherited its spirit and main features.

S90V Blade length - 95mm, thickness - 4.0mm. The blade has a through lobe of a complex shape, shome with satin, descents and a false blade with a stonewash finish. There is a large notch on the ear.

The axial is equipped with a single-row roller bearing SRRBS, which has become the de facto standard for CD over time.

Handle... It's not easy here either, where to start? Die processing, complex, multi-stage tie and anodizing process. Harmonious texture, which is easier to see once - multidirectional lines of different lengths and thicknesses are applied along the entire length of the handle. In addition, there are three elongated holes in the front plate and two in the die on the back side.

They continue their style with two holes similar in shape, but smaller in the clip, usually convenient and no less complex than the handle as a whole.

As always, a lot of attention is paid to small design elements: the axial screw is from the latest generation of CD (also with a notch, it does not happen much), and in the sampling area the frame is marked with the inscription CDX.

The spacer, wide and long, smoothly goes into the handle on both sides. It is anodized to match the color of the handle, and it has a wide, almost "gear" notch. The logo of the Workshop is applied to its back part (which also forms the outer border of the hole under the strap).
